Kayak Shipping Damage
We know accident happens...
Shipping insurance for all our boat are covered for FREE.
Upon delivery, unwrap your kayak and thoroughly inspect for damage.
If you find major damage; such as holes or deep gouges, have the carrier document in writing a detailed description of the damages before signing anything, take pictures, return damaged kayak to the driver, and contact us immediately.
If you find minor damage; such as minor scratches, dings and dents, note the damage on the Bill of Lading, take pictures and accept the shipment. You can contact us with any questions.
If the product is signed for without damage being reported or if the driver leaves the property without the damage being reported, Midwest Watercraft Co. won't be able to replace it. You will have to pay return freight charges (which ranges from $165 - $360) in order to get a replacement or accept the kayak as is.
Cancellations
We always encourage you to visit the local dealer to find the a model that fits your needs.
Well, still accident happens. .If you placed order by mistake, don't worry we can help you cancel it. Please send a cancellation request to info@midwestwatercraft.com within 5 days from the purchase date to qualify for a full refund.
For cancellation request after 5 days, we will request 3% of your total order in order to cover our credit card transaction fee.
For cancellation request after boat gets shipped out or delivered, you will need to follow the return process plus a 20% restocking fee depend on the condition of the boat when the boat arrives at our warehouse.
